I love my secret place. When I used to work at the hospital, I would go into the chart room before everyone came in. Whenever I felt like something wasn’t right, I would close the door and begin to pray. I would ask God to remove any spirit that didn’t belong in that building and to keep everyone covered.
Once I was done praying and came out, the atmosphere felt completely different—lighter, calmer, and more peaceful. Sometimes I would go into that room just to talk to God, simply because I needed to talk to Him. That chart room became my secret place, and you could truly feel His presence there.
Your secret place can be anywhere, and you don’t have to tell anyone where it is. It’s a personal space between you and God. I love knowing I have a place where I can go and cry, talk, give Him praise, or just sit in quietness before Him.
Going into your secret place with God is powerful. It’s a place where distractions fade and your heart can be open before Him. In that quiet space, God restores your peace, strengthens your faith, and speaks to your spirit.
Your secret place doesn’t have to be perfect or fancy—it just needs to be intentional. When you make room for God, He meets you right where you are. Find a secret place, worship Him, and enjoy your time with God. Watch how God works.
