Trusting God One Day at a Time
Trusting God one day at a time is easy for me to do now. But before, it wasn’t. I didn’t trust Him at all. I wanted to do my own thing because I thought I could handle everything on my own and that it would all work out.
I had to learn the hard way when I realized that things were not working. I began to understand that what I was going through wasn’t happening in a bad way—it was God getting my attention. He was teaching me to trust Him every day.
I had to go into my secret place and simply sit and listen to what God wanted to do in my life so I could move forward. That quiet time changed everything. Now, I trust Him daily—even when I don’t understand.
Trusting God one day at a time is amazing because He knows what’s ahead, and no one else can top Him.
It’s easy to worry about tomorrow—about what’s coming next, what might go wrong, or how things will work out. But God calls us to live one day at a time, trusting Him with today. When we focus too much on the future, we miss the peace God is offering us right now. God gives us the strength we need for today, and tomorrow will take care of itself when it comes.
Learning to trust God daily helps us rest in His promises instead of living in fear or anxiety.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for reminding me to take life one day at a time. Help me release my worries about tomorrow and trust You fully with today. Fill my heart with peace and guide my steps each day. Teach me to rely on You in every moment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
