Why Quiet Time With God Matters

I love my quiet time with God. It helps me get into His Word and understand what He is trying to say to me. During that time, I grew spiritually, and I am now able to encourage others as well. I know I can’t do any of this on my own. I don’t want to make a mess out of things by moving without Him.

As God shows me and guides me, I’m able to help those around me. My time with Him is very precious, and I truly value every moment spent in His presence. When I forget to start my morning with prayer or end my day by reading His Word, it feels like something is off. But when I take that time with Him, everything feels so much better.

Quiet time with God matters because it keeps us connected to Him. In a noisy world, stillness helps us refocus our hearts and remember who is truly in control. When we spend time with God daily, we grow stronger spiritually and become more aware of His presence in our lives.

If we can take time to scroll through social media, we can take that same time to spend with God. I’ve learned that time with Him is far more meaningful and rewarding than anything on a screen.

Scripture (KJV)

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”
Psalm 1:2
