Now, I still pray, and Sweetpea does it with my little cousin, who is four years old as well. We started praying with him when he was just three months old. We want to instill that in him now so he won’t forget it. We want him to grow up knowing that prayer is a normal part of life—not just something you do when things go wrong.
Watching him learn how to pray, fold his hands, and listen quietly is such a blessing. It reminds me of how important it is to teach children about God early. When we plant those seeds in their hearts now, they grow up with a strong foundation of faith.
