Even small moments with God can bring great peace.
Making time for God doesn’t require perfection—it just requires intention. Life can get busy very quickly, and before we know it, our days are filled with responsibilities, schedules, and distractions. Sometimes we don’t even realize how little time we’ve spent with God until we finally slow down. But I’ve learned that inviting God into everyday life doesn’t have to be complicated. It starts with a willing heart.
God doesn’t expect us to carve out hours we don’t have. He wants to be included. When we intentionally make room for Him in our daily routine, our faith grows stronger, and our hearts feel lighter. Even small moments with God can bring great peace.
God Wants to Be Part of Your Everyday Life
Sometimes we treat time with God as if it has to be perfectly scheduled. If we can’t sit down for a long devotional or prayer time, we feel like we’ve failed. But God wants to walk with us throughout the day—not just in quiet moments.
“Pray without ceasing.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
This reminds me that prayer doesn’t have to look one specific way. It can be an ongoing conversation throughout the day—while driving, cleaning, cooking, working, or even resting. God is always near, and He is always listening.
Inviting God Into the Little Moments
Some of the most meaningful moments with God happen in the little things. A short prayer before starting your day. Thank Him for waking you up. Asking Him for guidance before making a decision. These small acts invite God into our everyday life.
I’ve learned that when I acknowledge God in small moments, my awareness of His presence grows. It reminds me that I don’t have to face anything alone—God is right there with me.
“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
— Proverbs 3:6 (KJV)
Making God a Priority, Not an Afterthought
It’s easy to say we’ll spend time with God later, but later doesn’t always come. Making God a priority means being intentional about inviting Him into our day before distractions take over.
This doesn’t mean we have to change everything at once. Even small changes can make a big difference. Waking up a few minutes earlier, turning off distractions, or reading just one verse can shift our focus and draw us closer to God.
How Time With God Changes Your Mindset
Spending time with God daily has a way of changing how we see things. When we start our day with Him, our mindset shifts. We become more patient, more grateful, and more aware of His presence.
There are days when I feel overwhelmed, but once I pause and spend time with God, I feel calmer. My problems don’t disappear, but my perspective changes. God gives me peace and reminds me that He is in control.
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee.”
— Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)
Consistency Over Perfection
Making time for God is not about being perfect—it’s about being consistent. Some days you may have more time, and other days you may only have a moment. What matters is showing up with an open heart.
God meets us where we are. He understands our schedules, responsibilities, and limitations. When we make the effort to include Him, He honors that.

I love the new site sis! Keep up the great work!
When I spend time with God, my thoughts slow down, my worries don’t feel heavy, and my heart feels clearer. God reminds me who I am, what matters, and that I’m never alone. When I sit with God, He gently shifts my mindset from stress to peace, from doubt to trust, and from feeling overwhelmed.
Love this, thank you for sharing. I definitely have an ongoing conversation with God throughout the day!
